Jonathan attended the University of Pacific in Stockton, California where he received a BFA in Studio Art and graduated Cum Laude. While at Pacific, he focused most of his energy on painting and drawing portraits and the figure. He currently resides in Los Angeles where he has introduced new mediums and different subjects to his practice. Being self-diagnosed with Art ADD, he is always interested in finding new methods of creating art. Jonathan looks to the historic buildings and street surfaces in the city for inspiration. Here he finds textures and a nostalgia he hopes to portray in his work whether that be painting, drawing, or with his new digital work.
